#RantNRaves: WHY ARE HOMOSEXUALS STEADY COMING OUT OF THE CLOSET?

There seems to be a big trend going on lately! For some reason gay celebs and stars feel the need to reveal their homosexuality. Now is it just me, or is it anybody's business what a persons sexual preference is? I mean everybody does not have to know what you do or what you like. My GOD, everywhere you go its gay this or gay that, why is homosexuality being forced on people now-a-days? I mean just because someone comes out of the closet does not mean that it will be accepted by all. I think because more people are accepting this lifestyle, that they feel the need to be free with it. Homosexuality will never be accepted on the level of heterosexuality, and that should be understandable, so whats the point of coming our of the closet? It does not make people accept it more, it just let's them know what you are. Who Really Cares? The Anderson dude came out, Magic Johnson's son is out, and now Jason Collins. Guess what, nobody life changed because you came out guys!

#RantnRave: Why are Child Molester's set Free?

One thing that I cannot stand is a person that will do gruesome things to kids. A child molester is one type of person that I do not care to be in the same room with. While I know that we should not judge, and that GOD can forgive anything, I would prefer to stand next to a serial killer before some sicko that likes kids in a sexual way and will act on it. I have realized that we have a lot of child molesters in our community, and Its shocking to me because I always thought that it was a "them thing",  and not us black folks. Watching shows like Dr. Phil and Oprah, as well as hearing people in my own family talk about it taught me that this goes on a little bit to much. The sad part about is that some of these buffoons still walk freely because someone did not tell on them, believe the person that told, or has been set free. What about these moms bringing any old beast in the house with there kids? Some will believe the man over the child, and if they believe the man, at least make him leave for the sake of your child, and you can slip and see him all you want.

Now when these nasty beasts are set free from prison, they are not suppose to go within so many feet of kids. Now here is the question, How do we make sure of this? Its dam near impossible to make sure that they don't. How in the hell do you set someone free and have to watch them the rest of their natural born lives? Every other convict that is set free can go on freely because they have done their time, but you have to watch sex offenders. They are said to have a disease, so as long as they have this disease, they could strike again! Well I do not want to have to worry about whether are not one of these fools want to take advantage of one of my kids, or somebody else's. I do not think that they should be able to walk the streets again because there is to much at stake. I have seen drug dealers get more time than a child molester and it makes no sense to me. What do you guys think about this subject?

#RantNRave: No Excuses For Cheating!

Alright lets get to it, this weeks rant n rave post is about those of you who choose to cheat on your mate, and have the audacity to throw out some dumb ass excuse. I hear people say that they cheat because they do not get the time that they deserve from their significant other, they're mate does not satisfy them sexually, and/or they were cheated on by their mate so they are seeking revenge. You know what I call this...Bullshit! The only excuse for cheating is... I wanted to! Just leave it at that and you will get more respect from me.



Lets just say that you are not happy with your mate at the moment for whatever the reason maybe. Fine, thats life and people will not always make you happy, and you know what, people do not make you happy, you have to do that for yourself with GOD's help. People can only complement you by treating you how GOD would have them. I'll save that speech for another post, now back to the cheating. So yeah, you are not happy wit your mate right, ok, now the solution to this is to see what is wrong with your relationship and try to fix it if possible. Now, instead of doing this, you mean to tell me you plan on making things better by hopping in the sack with another person, and your excuse is that "you were not happy". Pardon my language but, NEGRO PLEASE (MALE OR FEMALE)! Now how did this help you with your relationship? Not at all! When you go back home, you are going back home to the same problem that you left with, only now you got laid by another person, and sooner are later they will be mad that they are not the main chick or dude.

If you cheated, you wanted to because it was already on your mind. If you are not happy with your mate, get rid of them if you feel like you want to try something else. Why go out there and get some from somebody else, and then throw up some lame ass excuse about why you did it. When you love someone and you are not happy about how you are getting treated, try to make it work, and if it does not, get the hell on. Cheating does not fix anything but that nature that was rising. Excuses for cheating is like a drug addict saying that they took a hit of crack because they got depressed. No, you took a hit of that crack because you wanted it and you were looking for a reason to fire it up. What do you guys think?

#RantNRave: GOOD MEN ARE NOT HARD TO FIND?

Ok Guys, this is my second post in my #rantnrave series! I can't tell you guys how much I have heard a woman say "Its hard to find a good man" in my lifetime. Guess what, it makes me sick! A good man is not hard to find, but a good man with a good job that is tall, dark, handsome, has a big house, big feet, and who is flawless is very hard to find. I think that when it comes to women, they tend to have this big fantasy of what a good man is in their mind. Some women want a flawless man, at least that is what I gather. I know a few good men, and those good men are single and looking for a good woman. These few good men are having a hard time getting picked.

Im talking about hard working GOD FEARING BROTHERS that probably do not fit the description of what most women would like. Some of them might be a little nerdy, some a little sensitive, and the others are not so Denzel looking, you know what I mean. So ladies I think that you need to change how you say "good men are hard to find", it should be "The type of man that I am looking for is hard to find"! You guys correct me if I am wrong.

#RantnRave: WORK FOR YOURSELVES BLACK FOLKS!

This Post is a part of what I call my #RantNRave series! I am about to go in on something that I am tired of, or that I find ridicules. So lets get right to it! I'm tired of working for other people you guys. I mean waking up at a certain time, getting off whenever they let you, and laying you off at the time that you need the crappy job the most is for the dam birds. I am on a quest to do my own thing, and there is nothing that is going to stop me. Let me tell you what I got going on yall. I currently work two full time jobs. My first love is music, and my major goal is to start my own independent label which is on its way. My second love is travel, which I became a travel agent a few months ago, and I am working this business out of my home. If God Blesses me, I will be moving into an office in the next six months. While I am doing that, I am one class away from having my bachelors degree in Criminal Justice. So if these plans don't work out, I will enter the world of law enforcement, but it will be as a private investigator from a company that I will own.

It's very hard to do all of these things, but you know what else, its even harder punching the clock for two different businesses. I mean if I can do these jobs for these two locations, why in the hell can't I work hard for myself. I know its not easy guys, but I'm sick n tired of hearing black folks saying "I hope my job don't lay off", or "I just want to work here until I retire". We slave over these low paying jobs and make these white folks rich, while we cant even take our family on a good five day vacation. Even when we can afford it, we have to ask them for permission to take time off. In everything that I do I want to make things better for my people. With my travel agency, I want to provide jobs for my people, and also offer them affordable trips and show them how to travel for less, not mark up a trip so that they can't even afford it. With my music, I want to show my people how to make money from there music without loosing control and creativity of their music. Why can't we just put our heads together and get this money folks?

Its hard to start a business, God knows it is. I am doing everything on my own, and I will be successful at whatever I do because GOD is with me and has shown me the way. My main focus at the moment is my travel agency, and I am going to let that fund my label. This shit is not easy, and I could use some help from family and friends, but guess what, you can't get black folks to do shit but sit back and talk about how something is not going to work. Well, while yall are sitting back hating, I will be sitting on the beach with my laptop in my lap sippin on a pina colada. Black people we can do whatever we want to do, just find out what it is that you want out of life, study it, and make plans to do it. Things are hard for me because I want to do more than one thing, so I have to concentrate on the easiest thing for me to do, then move on to the next. Stop being so dam scared, if you aint working for yourself, then more than likely you are punching a clock owned by someone who does not even respect ya. Keep on making "dem folks" rich, I know how I am, and who I am destined to become. Peace!
