George Zimmerman's wife, Shellie Zimmerman was arrested earlier today. She was charged with perjury after lying to the judge about her husband's finances during a bond hearing. This action was ordered by the assistant state Attorney John Guy. He claims that Mrs. Zimmerman deliberately made false statements to the judge.
According to blackbluedog.com, Mrs. Zimmerman wasn’t in jail for long, however. Immediately after her arrest, she posted $1,000 bond and was released. The 25-year old woman was booked in the John E. Polk Correctional facility this afternoon.
